Office News

The weekend of October 20th - October 23rd, CareNOW, a nonprofit organization, hosted a massive free medical clinic at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Prior years it was called RAM. Many medical professionals volunteered their services and planned to treat about 5,000 patients. Sunday October 16th thousands arrived at the arena and camped out to be one of the first in line to receive a wristband at the crack of dawn. Many camped out in folding chairs and huddled under blankets. Many that arrived early were from the year before who unfortunately were not able to get a wristband.

Dr. Martinez, members of his dental team, and his entire family volunteered at the CARE NOW free Medical Clinic, for the 4th time in a row. "All of us had mixed emotions. Many of these patients were in severe dental pain and many in pain for months. On the other hand, we were all more than happy to help and get these patients out of pain. It was a very rewarding experience. All of the patients we treated were more than grateful. It was so rewarding that most of us refused to leave when our shift was over. There was so many that still went untreated."
