Krystle Morris
RDA, CDA, Office Manager
Krystle was born in Downey, California but she was raised in Paramount. She graduated from Los Alamitos High School and following in the footsteps of her mentors, went to Cerritos College. As part of the Dental Assisting Program, she graduated at the top of her class and received one of the top honors during graduation. Upon graduating she immediately passed the rigorous RDA exam and became a Registered Dental Assistant and Certified Dental Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Administration from California State University, Long Beach and was honored at graduation as Outstanding Graduate being in the top 0.1% of her class. Now she sits on the Cerritos College Advisory Board along with Dr. Martinez and is part of the faculty at Cerritos College in the Dental Assisting Program. You will enjoy her smile and her passion for Dentistry shows with each caring moment.
Kimberly Hostetler
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kim, Dr. Martinez’s Registered Dental Hygienist, grew up in Downey, where she attended Warren High School. At 16, she began working for Vons Market in Paramount, where she enjoyed interacting with so much of the community on a daily basis for 9 years. After High School, she attended Cerritos College part time. Winning a scholarship through the Retail Clerks Union pushed Kim to attend college full time and, in 1997 she graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program.
In 2002, Kim came back to Paramount to work for Dr. Martinez (who coincidentally was in the same lot as the Vons Market). Much to her delight, she would be interacting with the same community as with her 1st job. Only now, she would have a hands-on role in maintaining the oral, and overall, health of the same great community. Her patients benefit from her caring personality and her thoroughness (often being the first one in the office in the morning to review her patients’ charts) assures each patient the best care.
In her spare time, Kim enjoys caring for her furry brood. She and her boyfriend Andrew have an assortment of cats and dogs, all of whom are very spoiled. The also enjoy music and have taken a few vacations based on a concert’s location
Cindy Shehan
Registered Dental Hygienist
Cindy completed her Dental Hygiene degree in 1991 graduating with honors and receiving the award of Best Clinician in her class.
As a practicing Hygienist for the last 25 years she has extensive experience in soft tissue management. She is extremely happy to be returning to Dr. Martinez's great team after leaving in order to have more time to raiser her two children. Caring and friendly, Cindy enjoys working with her patients to providing them with excellent dental care. As a member of Dr. Martinez's team, her mission is to help teach and motivate her patients to maintain their healthy smiles for a lifetime as well as their overall health.
Outside of work Cindy enjoys spending time with her family. With a son who is now in college, she is still very involved with her daughter's school and dance activities. She also enjoys hobbies such as sewing!
